WestJet Airlines is adding all nine 737 MAX 8 previously leased by Lynx Air to its fleet.
Six of them are already registered as part of WestJet, but are currently stored, and the other three examples are due to be incorporated soon. The incoming MAX 8 will not immediately have the standard WestJet’s configuration, but are expected to be converted within the next year or so.
Lynx Air was a low-cost airline based in Canada, which collapsed in February, 2024.
