Yesterday (29), United Airlines resumed its Los Angeles-Shanghai service after an over four year hiatus due to COVID-19.
Operated by the 787-9 N27957, the flight UA198 departed LAX at 12:55 am and landed at Pudong Airport at 16:25 pm, after a 12h21min flight.
In September, the service will run four times weekly. However, starting on October 27, the route will be operated daily.
In addition to the United’s flights, China Eastern also connects Los Angeles and Shanghai.
