Qantas is preparing for the arrival of its very first A321XLR, which is scheduled to arrive in April 2025. Recently, the airline has unveiled more details of the cabins that will feature on its future A321XLR fleet.
The Airbus will be configured in a two-class layout of 197 seats, with 20 in business class and 177 in economy. The cabin is wider and extra-large overhead lockers offer space for around 60% more bags than the 737s.
Business class seats will be arranged in a 2-2 configuration and will have a 37-inch pitch and 5-inch recline, as well as calf rests and footrests. Economy seats will be similar to the A220’s, and both, economy and business class seat will feature dual USB A & C charging ports.
