Air Greenland is expanding its fleet with the addition of an Airbus A320neo, as a leasing agreement for six years (with possibility of extension) was signed with Carlyle.
The Greenland-based airline expects the aircraft to join its fleet by late 2026 and the operations are set to start in the summer of 2027. The maintenance base of the leased A320neo will be in Copenhagen and the airplane is due to operate on the route between Ilulissat (JAV) and Copenhagen (CPH).
